Our client is seeking a Field Service Technician that will primarily be travelling to customer sites performing installation, maintenence and service work. This person will be the first line of communication for their clients and is expected to deliver a high level of service, but also be able to technically troubleshoot and assist clients with issues they may be having.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide installation, service, training and troubleshooting support on production equipment
  • Drive customer satisfaction through pro-active communication and commitment to resolving their requests
  • Identify customer needs and requirements and create proposals in collaboration with the Customer Service Coordinator
  • Education in a related technical field, e.g. electronics, electro-mechanics, basic skills in hydraulics, pneumatics
  • Knowledge of electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repair of industrial machinery
  • Knowledge with programmable logic controller (PLC) would be an advantage.
