Job Description

Finance Manager

Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with leaders developing tools to better understand corporate spend, by reviewing, researching and analyzing monthly P&L expenses and summarizing & communicating those findings.
  • Provide valuable insight into identifying areas for improving both financial and departmental financial controls
  • Manage and support the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting process as well monitor departmental budget compliance
  • Support engagement profitability modeling, including standard cost calculation and engagement analysis/reporting
  • Ad-hoc analysis supporting the CFO, and department leaders
  • Assist in the development & maintenance of monthly business reports and dashboards
  • Lead the implementation of projects in line with the strategic and key business initiatives
  • Development and analysis of business plans to support Firm initiatives
  • Focus on process improvement opportunities
  • Participate as a member of finance transformation team charged with implementing SAP
Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in accounting/finance/business/economics or related field preferred
  • Minimum 5+ years of finance-related experience, preferably within the service industry
  • Experience with SAP, specifically SAP S4/Hana Cloud is strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of Business Objects and Hyperion is a plus
  • Proficient with MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook; able to learn new systems and tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced work environment
  • Strong financial and analytical acumen with pragmatic approach to problem solving
  • Proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage several projects simultaneously
  • Effective decision making skills
  • Charismatic personality with strong interpersonal skills to liaise with all departments of the company and senior management
  • Strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work in time sensitive environments and balance competing demands, with the ability to prioritize and find creative ways to meet the needs of multiple stakeholders
  • Willingness to occasionally work outside of core business hours on an as needed basis
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work full time in a dynamic office environment; physically able to sit/stand at a computer and work in front of a computer screen for significant portions of the work day
