What you need for this role:

  • Four-year degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years' experience
  • CPA a plus
  • Ability to create advanced financial models using MS Excel
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • High level of professionalism; ability to assess and work with various styles and levels of management
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple tasks

What you will be doing - You will:

As a Financial Analyst, familiar with corporate accounting, you will analyze financial information and prepare financial reports to determine or maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Preparing, examining, or analyzing financial statements and reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards
  • Establishing tables of accounts and assigning entries to proper accounts
  • Developing, implementing, modifying, and documenting recordkeeping and finance/accounting systems, making use of current computer technology
  • Conducting technical accounting research and assist with implementation of new GAAP standards
  • Preparing special project reports; demonstrating effective writing skills and utilize charts, graphs, media, or other visual tools to effectively communicate results to management
  • Presenting reports and results to senior management, as appropriate
