As a Jr Accountant, you will support the accounting team in AP,AR, journal entries, and maintaining general ledger accounts

Job duties include:

  • Analyze cost and production data
  • Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice
  • Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; studying proposed changes in methods and production
  • Develop, review, and track all program budget information ensuring contract compliance
  • Create templates and spreadsheets as necessary to facilitate data collection and accurate data presentation.
  • Produce monthly contract reimbursement claims
  • Fiscal audit compliance and assisting in the preparation of audit responses.
  • Respond to fiscal questions from program staff, Executive Management and contracting agency personnel.
  • Coordinate to ensure proper posting of transactions

  • Understanding of HIPAA


  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as financial analysis and/or accounting
  • Understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
  • Software: Microsoft Office, Great Plains, NetSuite, and/or Oracle
  • Excellent Excel knowledge (Macros, pivot tables, v-lookup)
  • Ability to produce legible, clear, and concise written documentation
  • Ability to work independently, problem solve and effectively collaborate with a team
  • Ability to stay organized and manage various projects in a fast-paced environment
