Job Description

Position Summary

The Financial Reporting Analyst will be responsible for monthly financial reporting, analysis, as well as providing accounting guidance. Primary areas of focus include but are not limited to preparing and analyzing monthly revenue and expense financials and forecasts, cash flow statements and forecasts, KPI reporting, financial covenants, as well as other ad-hoc decision support for management.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Compiles the monthly financial statements
  • Consolidation of international entity financial statements
  • Analyzes the monthly results against applicable budget and forecast, providing management commentary on material variances
  • Prepares the monthly balance sheet and cash flow forecasts
  • Report on financial covenants and forecast results to ensure future compliance
  • Interacts with senior management on a regular basis, providing sound analysis of latest trends; revenue, costs, and financial KPIs
  • Supports the annual audit including preparation of certain notes to the financials
  • Assists in the generation, preparation and review of executive reporting packages and board presentations
  • Develops informative financial reports/analysis through the collection, organization, and validation of data
  • Participates in the preparation and compilation of the quarterly and annual operating plan and cash flow statement/forecast which may include company-wide or functional area specific modeling, analysis, and graphic presentation of financial data
  • Manage the analysis of customer rebates and sales commissions

Required Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required

Skills & Experience:

  • 2-4 years of work experience in finance or related fields
  • Proficiency with financial reporting consolidation systems - Hyperion HFM
  • Experience partnering with business leaders as well as accounting/finance teams
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools a plus
  • Demonstrated capability to interface and maintain effective relationships with all departments and employees in a team-oriented environment
  • Well organized, dependable, punctual, strong work ethic
  • Flexible/adaptive to change and ability to manage numerous tasks simultaneously
  • Accepts feedback from others
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
