Financial Reporting Consultant ($50 to $75/hour) in Atlanta, GA at Vaco

Job Description

Vaco is partnering with a well known, large new client in downtown Atlanta; we're looking for a Financial Reporting Consultant to help our client's Internal Management Reporting process. This is not an SEC reporting function. Pay on this role can range from $50 - $75 depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and compilation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial schedules (PP&E rollforward, investments rollforward, etc.)
• Assist in preparation of monthly Actual Package report
• Addressing management requests for data and analysis spanning multiple functional finance and accounting areas
• Preparation and consolidation of Balance Sheet fluctuations
• Partner with international entities in resolving intercompany and consolidation questions
• Support the financial reporting processes for internal and external reporting
• Participate in testing and performance of various production support issues, application upgrades, development work, and end user training
• Perform ad hoc financial analyses for management

Requirements

• B.S. or above degree in Accounting or Information Systems
• 3-5 years of financial systems experience, retail experience a plus
• CPA preferred
• Public/private experience a plus
• Experience with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) a plus
• Detail-oriented with ability to multitask without sacrificing accuracy
• Ability to learn new processes quickly
• Excellent time management, analytical and organizational skills
