Job Description

You will provide ongoing business support for system enhancements and financial consolidation processes, new business integration, and financial systems modernization efforts. In this role you will collaborate with our finance and technology community to coordinate and execute project activities to meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participates in the strategic business planning with accounting and finance as well as IT to formulate enhancement options to address specific functional issues / requirements
  • Liaises with IT to drive system enhancements, upgrades and modifications; ensures architecture supports business requirements
  • Identifies and analyzes metrics to obtain trends and patterns to identify process/system opportunities and recommend corrective action
  • Recommends and implements process improvement/reengineering initiatives
  • Assists in the development of project plans specifying goals, strategy, staffing, scheduling, identification of risks, contingency plans and allotment of resources for each phase of the project
  • Direct management of governance and finance system compliance in accordance with company policies, standards and SOX requirements
  • Coordinates & executes project activities to ensure project progresses on schedule
  • Monitors project results against objectives, milestones and scope.
  • Develops and solution testing, training and communication.
  • Manages team resources and ensure they are utilized appropriately

Job Requirements

Requirements: •BA degree •CPA or MBA is highly preferred •Minimum of 5 years work experience with financial or accounting •Significant experience working with NetSuite •Established expertise in financial operations, financial controls, GAAP accounting, financial reporting, and financial systems •System implementation experience •Understanding of general ledger, hierarchies and data structures •Excellent project management skills •Experience implementing financial processes and systems •Auditing Experience is a plus You must be able to: •Apply expert knowledge and understanding of financial and US GAAP accounting principles to our systems and business processes •Effectively communicates with management, stakeholders, subject matter experts and project team members. Regularly interact with management, clients and stakeholders on matters concerning their functional area, segments and departments. Develop and deliver key information; ability to develop well laid out presentations •Define a clear vision and motivate others to embrace change •Proactively identify and troubleshoots issues (data or process) and take appropriate action to resolve •Ensure orderly, accurate and timely completion of all required test scripts, localizes test scripts as necessary to ensure business needs are addressed
