The Financial Analyst is responsible for providing financial advice and support to Clients and colleagues to enable them to make sound business decisions. Under general supervision, performs complex budgeting and accounting functions; conducts financial, statistical, and analytical studies; prepares and assists in the preparation of financial reports, statements, and expense reimbursement according to prescribed guidelines; performs related duties as required.

Job Duties:

  • Primary liaison to external Client finance and accounting teams;
  • Developing strong relationships with appropriate contacts;
  • Producing accurate financial reports to specific deadlines;
  • Providing and interpreting financial information;
  • Monitoring and interpreting Client related cash receipts and disbursements;
  • Analyzing changes to revenue share and contracts, and advising accordingly;
  • Researching and reporting on factors influencing business performance;
  • Developing financial management mechanisms that minimize financial risk;
  • Conducting reviews and evaluations on marketing budgets and T&E expense for cost-reduction opportunities;
  • Managing a company's financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems;
  • Liaising with auditors when needed.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in a similar finance position
  • Advanced Excel skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
