Job Description

Up and coming small Aerospace and Defense company in sunny San Diego, CA, seeks additional talent to fill an FPGA design position. Employee will be responsible for design and development of FPGA's in support of various company products related to spacecraft subsystems. Responsibilities include reviewing requirements documents from an FPGA design standpoint; creating FPGA blocks in VHDL; designing supporting test benches as well design documentation. Innoflight integrated teams include Hardware, Software, FPGA design, test automation, and system leads. This position requires a background that includes previous FPGA design with VHDL. Innfoflight products use embedded Linux, FPGA System on chips (SOC), embedded modem design techniques, automated test control systems and RF interface links. Priority will be given to candidates that have previously been involved in similar design activities - particularly embedded networking technologies. This job is for the candidate that likes to get work done quickly and be involved in multiple projects at one time.

Looking for highly motivated and skilled individuals to become impact players on the development of a spacecraft system that contains specialized electronic sensors and all the associated supporting circuitry.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor and/or Master's of Electrical or Computer Engineering
  • Disciplines desired include hardware (digital, mixed signal), RF, FPGA, and embedded software.
  • Candidates will be submitted for background investigation for the purpose of being granted a U.S. security clearance*.
