Job Description

Our client is one of the fastest-growing direct response marketing firms in the United States. We market and distribute products in the direct-to-consumer market, and are searching for a driven, detail-oriented analyst to join our team.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage the relationship with our merchant banks and other third-party relationships meant to assist in fraud/chargeback prevention.
  • Work with Finance Manager to identify fraud control improvements
  • Develop reporting focused on fraud prevention, chargeback management, declines and merchant account health
  • Utilize Kount fraud prevention software to identify and analyze fraud patterns and establish rules to help mitigate fraud, Customer Fraud (chargebacks), Other (phishing attacks, etc) - research root causes and suggest strategy for mitigating impact
  • Review, monitor and report on current fraud activities by reviewing transactions and chargebacks and establishing KPIs for the fraud prevention team
  • Manage the monitoring process for the Key Financial Risk Factors: fraud, chargebacks, declines, merchant account fees and merchant account health
  • Manage the efficiency of external vendors used from fraud prevention and chargeback representation
  • Regularly provide updates to Finance Manager and other Company leaders on status of fraudulent activity, declines and chargebacks
  • Work with Customer Service to provide support for escalated customer refund/chargeback questions/issues
  • Regularly review merchant accounts

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with a major in Business, Accounting or similar field.
  • 3 years' experience
  • General understanding of the Payments, Risk, Chargebacks, eCommerce space.
  • Efficient with Excel, Tableau or other programs used for analytical insight and presentation.
  • Must be analytical and solutions orientated
