Full Stack Developer


Our client is putting together a service team with startup blood at its core. We're a lean team with the backing of an established company; we just do things a lot differently than everyone else.

So what about you? You're a rock star software engineer who wants to lead our team and tackle it all. You want to be a part of everything from database design to stylesheets. We don't care what background you come from, all we care about is that you want to help create a great applications that engages and delights our customers. Of course, you'll be a collaborator who will work hand-in-hand with your PM, designer, and others. How about customers? Qualifications:
* Strong experience of the web presentation stack HTML/CSS/Javascript/AJAX
* 3+ years of experience working in a modern commercial web development environment and shipping solid product to end users.
* Solid understanding of the full web technology stack (e.g. HTTP, cookies, asset loading, caching, REST, Thrift)
* Past experience or familiarity with architectural patterns of large, high-scale web or mobile applications
* Demonstrated design and UX sensibilities Rigor in A/B testing, test coverage, and other web best practices
* Analytical and strong quantitative skills, plus experience combining code and math.
* Proficiency in at least one of the following: Python, PHP, Ruby or Java with a preference for Java
* Proficiency with Linux, Apache and open-source technology stacks
Nice to have:
* Computer Science degree preferred but not required
* Experience with Mendix platform
