Position: General Manager- Brand Experience

Who we want on our team:

We seek a friendly, outgoing and organized assistant general manager, who is a highly capable self-starter. This individual will take responsibility sales, inventory, and the overall experience of both retail, event and tour operations. They will interact directly with customers and lead the retail and bar teams to create an outstanding and memorable customer experience. This individual will possess strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills, as well as a passion and ability to exceed customer expectations.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects including tourism marketing, consumer experience, ticketing, CRM, retail merchandise/operations, bar, and micro-distillery.
  • Drive best in class operations within budget while supporting the brand objectives to reflect an image of quality and deliver a premium experience.
  • Assume accountability of location-specific Profits and Losses.
  • Create a high-performance culture.
  • Hire and train personnel with guidance and support from department leads.
  • Achieve assigned sales goals and keep track of inventory. Continuously look for ways to generate and improve sales and be a Leader in the Industry.
  • Upload sales reporting weekly and input end of the month inventory for compliance.
  • Serve as the Safety Committee Lead. Enforce set standards for daily site conditions.
  • Manage point of sale (POS) usages and inventories.
  • Catalog key brand and competitive information.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Ability to work in a team and be a self-starter
  • Entrepreneur with comfort with undefined processes
  • Strong project management and organizational/time management skills
  • Able to manage multiple competing priorities
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Possess quality oral and written communication skills
  • Able to work a non-traditional work week (Thursday to Monday).

Valued but not required skills and experience:

  • Prefer some college or equivalent experience
  • Experience in a distilled spirits, or Hospitality - Large Hotel experience desired
