Job Description

Vaco is looking for a Global Digital Consultant role for our client in Clearwater.

Provides overall direction, guidance on ecommerce products with industry insight to support IT and Business leadership to effectively drive the global eBusiness strategy. Interfaces across several business and IT areas, acting as a visionary to proactively define the direction for future plans. Responsible for conception of product solutions and direction, building consensus and the selling and execution of such solutions while ensuring that the design and integration of proposed solutions lead to the development and growth of the business through effective use of technology.


  • Works with all areas of the business to develop creative, pragmatic, discreet, economic, effective solutions and technology approaches.
  • Brings products, analytic, information technology, problem solving, process design, communication and negotiation skills to the benefit of the business units, to aid the development of products and opportunities.
  • Responsible for actionable strategies to solve business problems and seize new opportunities.
  • Will have been notable for outstanding facilitation ability, product and market information without bias and success gathering organizational consensus, requiring them to have a solid professional demeanor, positive attitude, business credibility and great interpersonal style.
  • Facilitates the development and refinement of our eBusiness stack and business systems engineering across the enterprise globally
  • Develops and maintains credibility and effective working relations with both internal and external customers and management and IT personnel in a way that demonstrates an understanding of business problems, as well as IT strategies, issues, roadmap and priorities.
  • Informs and advises on information systems technologies' functionality, competitive landscape, costs, benefits and implementation requirements, and provides services such as facilitating priority setting and brokering contracts on behalf of customers.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned
  • Facilitates discussions and coaches managers on issues that relate to new global consideration and opportunities
  • Understands global agendas and researches, analyzes, designs, proposes, and delivers solutions that are appropriate for the business and technology strategies
  • Interfaces globally with the business to develop creative, pragmatic, discreet, economic, effective and flexible processes and technology approaches.
  • Influences and drives IT global strategic decisions as they relate to an effective global vision of IT architecture and platform direction.

Required Education:

Bachelor's Degree (Business related discipline)

Preferred Education:

Master's Degree (MBA)


  • Seven years of experience is required in either IT business systems analysis in corporate environments, or business unit experience with intense involvement to IT development and implementation of large-scale systems.
  • Previous experience in business process re-engineering or process improvement is expected. Outstanding facilitation ability and success gathering organizational consensus, requiring a solid professional demeanor, positive attitude, business credibility and great interpersonal style.
  • General industry knowledge of technology vendors, applications and trends
  • Requires in-depth knowledge of quantitative and business-plan initiatives
  • Understands cross cultural demands associated with global executive management assignments.
  • Advanced understanding of technical processes, environments, problems and solutions as they relate to the organization's current and future strategic and operating environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Able to avoid win/loss situations and ensure productive resolutions of conflict.
  • Able to be diplomatic when handling calls/correspondence for Management.
  • Able to build solid, effective working relationships with others.
  • Analyze and resolve complex issues and problems in a sound and timely fashion.
  • Constructively work under stress and pressure when faced with high workloads and deadlines.
