Job Description

Vaco is searching for Payroll candidates with Global experience at a managerial level. This position will start fully remote with some travel outside of Georgia. THIS ROLE REQUIRES GLOBAL PAYROLL EXPERIENCE.

Job Duties:

  • Gather information on hours worked for each employee
  • Calculate the correct amount incorporating overtime, deductions, bonuses etc. with assistance of a computer system
  • Receive approval from upper management for payments when needed
  • Processing compensation, processing and compliance of all operations
  • Working with ADP/Workday
  • Manage different time zones and payroll for US, Canada, and EMEA (global payroll experience needed)
  • Prepare and execute pay orders through an electronic system or distribute paychecks
  • Administer statements of payment to personnel either electronically or on paper
  • Process taxes and payment of employee benefits
  • Keep track of hour rates, wages, compensation benefit rates, new hire information etc.
  • Address issues and questions regarding payroll from employees and superiors
  • Prepare reports for upper management, finance department etc.
  • Handle high-volume, multi-state payroll
  • Filing and scheduling
  • Any administrative duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree - HR, Accounting, Finance or other relevant
  • CPP Certified
  • 5+ years of payroll experience
  • ADP/WORKDAY
  • Global Payroll Experience with US, Canada, and EMEA (managing different time zones)
  • Large company background
  • Experience with processing high volume multi-state payroll
  • Tech savvy and systems experience
  • Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices
  • Very good knowledge of legislation and regulations of the field
  • Proficient in MS Office and good knowledge of relevant software and databases
  • Trustworthy with attention to confidentiality
  • Outstanding organizational ability with great attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
