Job Description

The Billing/Data Analyst is a newly created position within a growing healthcare company in Nashville. As such, they provide a comprehensive range of services to community hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers and office-based facilities. They provide patients with exceptional care and strive to surpass their clients´ requirements and expectations. As a true partner with facility's clinical leadership teams, they feel it's necessary for the provider to reach beyond their base clinical and administrative duties to proactively partner with hospital leadership to better coordinate and integrate care. Their innovative approach to clinical outsourcing is designed to drive growth and not only meet, but also exceed facility's needs.

This position works closely with the Vice President of Revenue analyze billing data and provide performance data to internal and external partners. Provides support to the operations, finance and billing teams regarding revenue cycle management activity. Reports to the Vice President of Revenue.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Healthcare Administration or a related field preferred - NOT REQUIRED
  • Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years of work experience in data analysis; strong knowledge and experience building and using databases combined with report generation for targeted audiences.
  • Skills and Abilities: Must be a highly motivated self-starter and problem solver that is both organized and detail oriented. Flexible and able to multi-task and work to often competing corporate deadlines while meeting the needs of ad hoc requests in a fast-paced environment. Proven interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to summarize information and present it in a concise and effective manner to influence other members of the management team. Clear understanding of the value of metrics and processes. Proactive ability to dig into the details to investigate variances and trends. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Duties:


  • Compile and organize healthcare data in accordance with need.
  • Analyze data to assist in delivering optimal healthcare management and decision making.
  • Convert data into usable information that is relatable and actionable for target audiences.
  • Develop reports and presentations in partnership with various stakeholders.
  • Analyze data and resolve data integrity issues as they arise to ensure final product accuracy.
  • Assisting with special assignments and preparing ad hoc reporting and analysis.
