Job Description

Our client has an opening for a HR Director. In this role, you will create and administer human resources policies, programs and practices, including: planning, organizing, developing, implementing, coordinating, and directing. Manages and formulates company policies and procedures for the Human Resources Department and recommending policies and practices to senior management.

Responsibilities and Requirements

  • Directs and administers HR policies, procedures, and programs for assigned business unit
  • Partners with business unit management to understand business drivers and facilitate HR operations and strategy
  • Partners with the HR functions and management to continually develop, and implement and enhance HR strategy
  • Directs and oversees a variety of other HR programs, activities and projects
  • Ensures the optimization of processes through technology and subsequent conversion and implementation
  • Directs, develops, and mentors a staff of HR professionals
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, public administration, psychology, education or related field and a Master's Degree in human resources or related personnel/human resources field is preferred
  • 3+ years general experience in the HR field; experience in a customer call center is a plus
  • 8+ years of managerial and supervisory experience in public or private personnel management
  • Certified Senior Professional (SPHR) preferred
