Job Description

Well-established organization in lower Westchester is seeking a hands-on Executive Assistant to support a busy HR team. This person will need to be able to support 6-8 individuals with administrative and HR tasks and must be comfortable in a fast-paced setting. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Support Human Resources department with administrative tasks, such as heavy calendar management, scheduling appointments
  • Administers medical insurance, savings, and disability programs by advising employees of eligibility; providing application information; helping with form completion; verifying submission; notifying employees of approvals.
  • Monitors unemployment claims by reviewing claims; substantiating documentation; requesting legal counsel review.
  • Maintains human resources records by recording new hires, transfers, terminations, changes in job classifications, merit increases; tracking vacation, sick, and personal time.
  • Orients new employees by providing orientation information packets; reviewing company policies; gathering withholding and other payroll information; explaining and obtaining signatures for benefit programs.
  • Documents human resources actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records


  • Bachelor's degree in Business/HR/Psychology/Related field highly preferred
  • Minimum of 2+ Years of administrative support experience required
  • Human resources experience preferred
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Must present professionally
