Job Description

Our Client is looking for an HR Generalist. Take a look and apply, if interested.

  • Acts as the primary in the areas of recruitment, hiring, and orientation, and as the secondary in the areas of performance management, policy administration, compliance and terminations as directed.
  • Maintains payroll / HRIS system by keeping data current and accurate and serves as the secondary payroll administrator by ensuring 100% accuracy and timeliness with respect to processing all payroll actions; maintains all payroll records and source documents for pay actions.
  • Serves as the primary benefits administrator by processing benefits forms and enrollment change documents; Maintains records of benefits coverage, and assists HR leadership in communicating benefits information; responds to employee questions and concerns directly or by referral to more senior HR staff when appropriate.
  • Assists with the development, coordination, and implementation of training and professional development programs, safety and wellness programs, and other HR initiatives.
  • Maintains confidential personnel records, including performance management documentation, attendance, appraisals, etc.
  • Creates and maintains spreadsheets and databases, and generates initial reports
  • Provides technical support with the creation of charts, graphs, and slides for presentations and reports
  • Prepares correspondence for review by HR Manager and Chief Human Resources Officer
  • Maintains departmental supplies including new hire and recruitment kits, orientation, employment handbooks, etc.
  • Assists Chief Human Resources Officer in the planning and monitoring of departmental budget
  • Coordinates special acknowledgements, and assists in the coordination of rewards/recognition programs
  • Manages project administration for special projects as assigned
