Job Description

In this HR role, you will be part of an HR team in this growing, dynamic company. You will be supporting a number of divisions, along with other HR reps and the position could involve a day or two a month of travel - some day travel and occasional overnight.

You will provide HR support and guidance and serves as a consultant to management for assigned divisions, assessing and anticipating HR related needs.

  • Recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and policy interpretation.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of human resources policies and procedures and assists employees and leaders with interpretation
  • Interact proactively with leaders to find solutions to business needs
  • Partner with leaders to manage and resolve employee relations issues
  • Assist the HR Director and HR Manager with talent review and succession planning for assigned divisions
  • Work with the HR team to facilitate the performance management process
  • Coach managers on writing and conducting effective performance reviews
  • Lead the recruitment effort for open positions in assigned divisions; developing and enhancing recruiting practices
  • Maintains compliance with federal and state employment regulations
  • Participates in the employee onboarding process
  • Assists with the annual benefits open enrollment process
  • Conduct exit interviews, analyzes data and makes recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Coordinates and manages annual workers' comp audit
  • Manages pre-employment and random controlled substance screening program
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Solid knowledge of principles and practices of human resources and benefits administration
  • Enthusiastic team player with excellent interpersonal skills and a positive personal presence
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Experience identifying and resolving problems in a timely manner, with integrity and accountability
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to manage several projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Maintain confidentiality and a professional demeanor at all times

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or related field and 3+ years of exempt-level HR experience
  • Human Resources certification preferred - PHR, SPHR, HRCI
  • Computer proficiency and technical aptitude including Microsoft Office Suite products
