Job Details:

    • Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization's human resource and talent strategy; particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting and retention.
    • Partners with the owners on strategies to get the best from the people in the organization. This is likely to include team building, goal setting, and coaching activities.
    • Provides support and guidance to management and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise.
    • Researches and maintains compensation and benefits.
    • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
    • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
    • Management of company's 401(k) account, vacation and sick-leave, and processing of twice monthly payroll
    • Assist in providing and maintaining constructive and timely performance evaluations and oversees employee disciplinary meetings/terminations and investigations.
Additional information:
  • Dogs are allowed in this office space - Must be confortable around animals
  • HIGHLY visable role for the company!
  • Multi-State experience desired
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desired
  • 5 years in HR required
