JOB SUMMARY:

Serves as functional HRIS point of contact for the organization. Responsible for ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing, and analyzing flow of information for process improvement opportunities.

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of human resource information systems (HRIS) associated with the collection, retrieval, accessibility and usage of employee information for the Human Resources department planning and activities
  • Maintains internal database files and tables and develops custom reports to meet the requirements of Human Resource management and staff
  • Maintains data integrity in systems through creation of appropriate configuration controls, standards and processes, as well as regular audits of data
  • Coordinates, facilitates and leads the planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing phases of assigned projects
  • Works with Human Resources personnel to evaluate HRIS software and hardware needs and may design new or modify existing HRIS to meet changing demands
  • Works with payroll team to coordinate retrieval and reporting functions
  • Provides data management and analytics approaches to meet the day to day organizational requirements and provide data driven support
  • Assists in system reviews, implementations, business requirements, production testing, upgrades and maintenance
  • Provides support and maintenance of other HR related systems
  • Provides analytical, value-added input when developing and delivering reports
  • Develops and maintains work instructions, job aides and technical documentation
  • Partners with stakeholders in other departments for audits, reporting, projects and other inter-departmental initiatives


GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience including HRIS administration experience
  • Experience supporting multiple systems within HR and HRIS
  • Strong Excel skills and HRIS reporting experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical users and to all levels in the organization
  • Must be a team player
  • Organized, detail oriented and able to multi-task in fast paced environment
