Job Description

Do you have a minimum of 5 years' experience in payroll processing? Have you built out an HRIS system? Would you consider yourself detailed oriented and someone that can build collaborative relationships? If so, this may be a role for you!

Our client is growing and looking to add a new role to their team! They are looking for a HRIS/Payroll Specialist. The company is known throughout the country and headquartered here in the Memphis area. To be successful in this role you must have experience with building out a HRIS system.

Some responsibilities include:

  • Report directly to the HR Manager
  • Backup for payroll processing and responsible for the maintenance of the HRIS System
  • Responsible for preparing semimonthly and monthly payrolls, along with month end responsibilities
  • Enroll new hires, rehires and terminations in UltiPro
  • Provide a smooth and efficient onboarding process
  • Implement new processes to make payroll and HRIS process efficient
  • Help payroll administrators and controllers at other locations
  • Responsible for wage garnishments
  • Manage HR records for retentions
