Job Description

I need a Human resources manager for an exciting and growing industry with limitless potential in an expanding market! The position will manage candidate recruiting as well as all HR functions, and must be able to prioritize, multi-task, and function effectively independently in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating a "can do" attitude. We are looking for an energetic, quick learner, motivated candidate with software industry experience and strong people and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment Functions
* Source and manage database of candidates and independent contractors
* Manage outside recruiting firms for optimal results at minimum cost
* Source and manage contingent hire processes for project management engagements
* Manage job postings
* Manage interview process, background checks and checking references
* Onboard new hires, conduct new-employee orientation and manage training

Human Resources Functions
* ADMINISTRATION - Assist management team
* Manage human resource plans
* Develop and implement personnel policies and procedures
* Prepare and maintain the employee handbook and the policies and procedures manual
* Maintain company organization chart, employee directory, and phone list
* PAYROLL - Input and processing
* Audit expense reports
* Check balances for bi-monthly payroll run
* Maintain professional development and sales budgets by employee

Performance Management
* Execute, coordinate, and monitor all performance management tasks
* Assist development of compensation program

Compliance - Maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations
Employee Relations -handle employee relations counseling, and exit interviews
Benefits Adminstration - Perform benefits administration within Employee Navigator including open enrollment, change reporting, and communicating benefits information to employees
Attract, Train, and Retain Great Talent - Develop, strategize, and execute departmental tactics and initiatives. Recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to continually improve efficiency of the department and services performed

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
* High degree of initiative, personal responsibility, and integrity
* Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting required goals and deadlines
* Positive attitude, flexible and a high level of enthusiasm and energy
* Excellent organization skills, strong analytical, oral and written communication skills
* Ability to research, compile information and make recommendations for special projects
* Collaborative, team-oriented attitude; willing to pitch in wherever needed to assist the team
* Ability to interact and communicate with a variety of individuals at multiple levels within the organization with minimal supervision

Bachelor's degree in HR or Business
Minimum of 5 years of recruitment experience, including contingent hiring
Minimum of 5 years of general HR experience
Minimum of 3 years of benefits administration
Minimum of 2 years of any HR and Payroll system experience

Experience with Employee Navigator and Paylocity systems. SHRM CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR
