Job Details:

  • Administer employee benefits programs such as retirement plans; medical dental, vision plans; life insurance plans; temporary disability programs; and wellness programs
  • Assure company compliance with provisions of Employee Retirement Income Security Act, Family Medical Leave Act, and the Affordable Care Act
  • Supervise preparation of reports and applications required by law to be filed with federal and state agencies (such as IRS etc.)
  • Review and analyze changes to state and federal laws pertaining to benefits and report necessary or suggest changes to management
  • Coordinate company benefits and government-sponsored programs
  • Evaluate and compare existing company benefits with those of other employers by analyzing other plans, surveys and other sources of information
  • Install approved new plans or changes to existing plans
  • Assist in preparing and executing benefits documentation
  • Handle benefits inquires and complaints to ensure quick, equitable, courteous resolution

Position Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in Business Management/Finance or related discipline and minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in benefits administration
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Must be highly organized, analytical and action and detailed oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, empathetic, positive and attentive listener
