Job Description

Vaco is currently recruiting for a recruiting assistant with a local client. This role is a great fit for you if you are people person with two years experience in human resources or recruiting!

The Human Resources department is in need of a temporary staff member to provide administrative and recruitment support to the HR department. The position will be for a period of four (4) to (6) months and will be responsible for sitting at the HR's front desk to manage the inflow of traffic into the HR department and provide admin support to the Vice President of Human Resources, Talent Acquisition and Benefits team. Responsibilities will include;

  • Providing overall administrative support to the HR department's VP, Talent Acquisition and Benefits team to include greeting incoming applicants and escorting them to interview areas, assisting with screen interviews, calendar management (to include scheduling meetings and gathering/processing documents for VP, etc.)
  • Providing general support for department sponsored employee events, and/or HR activities and programs, annual HR events, employee communications and Authority-wide meetings
