Job Description

Vaco is currently recruiting for a recruiting assistant with a local client. This role is a great fit for you if you are people person with two years experience in human resources or recruiting!

The Human Resources department is in need of an administrative and recruitment support to the HR department, Vice President of Human Resources, Talent Acquisition and Benefits team. Responsibilities will include;

  • Providing overall administrative support to the HR department's VP, Talent Acquisition and Benefits team, assisting with screen interviews, calendar management (to include scheduling meetings and gathering/processing documents for VP, etc.)
  • Providing general support for department sponsored employee events, and/or HR activities and programs, annual HR events and employee communications
  • Working to plan and attend externship events
  • Provide support to recruitment team with employee contracts

Job Requirements

Current IT skills Excellent attention to detail HR experience – 2-5 years (combination of those below) Onboarding Filing Recruiting Events Benefits knowledge a plus Familiarity with setting up drug/background screenings
