Vaco Staffing is looking for a great HR Assistant for a fast growing client of ours located in Alpharetta (near exit 12 / McFarland).
We have 2 roles; one for a recruiter and one for an HR / Recruiting assistant. Pay ranges from $15 to $18 per hour depending on experience.


Perform activities in the human resource area. Compile and keep personnel records. May prepare reports for employment records, file employment records, or search employee files. Compile and record employee time and payroll data.

Process and issue employee paychecks and statements of earnings and deductions.

Compute wages and deductions, and enter data into computers.

Compile employee time, production, and payroll data from time sheets and other records.

Verify attendance, hours worked, and pay adjustments, and post information onto designated records.

Issue and record adjustments to pay related to previous errors or retroactive increases.

Process paperwork for new employees and enter employee information into the payroll system.

Keep track of leave time, such as vacation, personal, and sick leave, for employees.

Conduct verifications of employment.

Address employee relations issues, such as harassment allegations, work complaints, or other employee concerns.

Analyze employment-related data and prepare required reports.

Conduct exit interviews and ensure that necessary employment termination paperwork is completed.

Conduct reference or background checks on job applicants.

Confer with management to develop or implement personnel policies or procedures.

Hire employees and process hiring-related paperwork.

Interpret and explain human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations.

Interview job applicants to obtain information on work history, training, education, or job skills.

Maintain and update human resources documents, such as organizational charts, employee handbooks or directories, or performance evaluation forms.

Prepare or maintain employment records related to events such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions, using human resources management system software.

Review employment applications and job orders to match applicants with job requirements.

Schedule or conduct new employee orientations.

Process, verify, and maintain personnel related documentation, including staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, classifications, and employee leaves of absence.


High School Diploma or GED and 1+ years of experience

OR Associates Degree

OR Bachelor's Degree

Demonstrated interest in HR (experience, degree, certifications or other)

Proficiency in MS Office programs
