Job Description

Vaco is currently seeking a Human Resources Consultant with at least 5 years of benefits administration experience for a great client located in the Alpharetta area. This is a 6-month contract (through end of year) and pay is $50-$55/hr (depending on experience).

Job Duties:

  • Assessment of current state and future state
  • Confirm process mapping for benefits administration items, including employee onboarding and offboarding
  • Develop detailed system integration mapping for applications impacting Benefits Administration
  • Develop process enhancements to improve efficiency
  • Lead planning and implementation of identified improvement initiatives
  • Confirm process flows are developed and optimized
  • Partner with key stakeholders and SMEs to identify improvement opportunities, along with evaluation of industry best practices
  • Ensure alignment between vendor(s) operational processes and benefits admin operational processes
  • Establish performance metrics establishing process/operational efficiency
  • Create and maintain project plans and ensure artifacts related to process improvement and operational implementation are memorialized
  • Communicate project status to project sponsors and key stakeholders
  • Proactively take responsibility for risk and issue management
  • Evaluate incidents impacting employees; participate in root cause analysis, leverage results for process improvement
  • Evaluate best practices options for incorporation into go forward organizational state

Requirements:

  • 5 years Benefits experience (benefits administration knowledge is key)
  • 2-3 years of Project Management experience
  • Knowledge of modern principles and practices of human resources administration
  • Knowledge of wage and salary/benefit administration principles and practices
  • Experience with Alight is a plus
  • Experience with Workday a plus
  • High attention to detail
