Our HR Generalist position is truly a hands-on people position that allows you to shine with your customer service skills combined with your HR knowledge of policy, process and the law. Our goal is engaged employees - our HR Generalist position plays a vital role in helping us help our employees.
- Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes
- Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training & development initiatives
- Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise
- Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
- Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies
- Undertake tasks around performance management
- Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates
- Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form
- Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits and organizing team building activities
- Ensure compliance with labor regulations
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist of a minimum of 1 year is preferred
- SHRM or HRCI certification is required.
- Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
- Good knowledge of employment/labor laws
- Outstanding knowledge of MS Office is required up to and including pivot tables in Excel, mail merge in Word.
- HRIS systems experience is also required
- Excellent communication and people skills - a true desire for one and one communication will make this position successful
- Aptitude in problem-solving
- Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach
- 4 year degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field preferred
