Our HR Generalist position is truly a hands-on people position that allows you to shine with your customer service skills combined with your HR knowledge of policy, process and the law. Our goal is engaged employees - our HR Generalist position plays a vital role in helping us help our employees.

• Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes
• Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training & development initiatives
• Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise
• Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
• Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies
• Undertake tasks around performance management
• Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates
• Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form
• Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits and organizing team building activities
• Ensure compliance with labor regulations

Requirements

• Proven experience as an HR Generalist of a minimum of 1 year is preferred
• SHRM or HRCI certification is required.
• Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
• Good knowledge of employment/labor laws
• Outstanding knowledge of MS Office is required up to and including pivot tables in Excel, mail merge in Word.
• HRIS systems experience is also required
• Excellent communication and people skills - a true desire for one and one communication will make this position successful
• Aptitude in problem-solving
• Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach
• 4 year degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field preferred
