Job Description

Vaco is seeking a Human Resources professional for a great client of ours located in the downtown Atlanta area. This role is designed to support the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources office as a true partner in the HR function. The HR Generalist manages the administration of the human resources policies, procedures, and programs. The HR Generalist carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: departmental development, Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), employee relations, training and development, benefits, compensation, organizational development, and employment. This role is direct-hire and the pay range is $65-$80k depending upon experience.

Job Duties:

  • Reports to the president
  • Originate and lead HR practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high-performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce
  • New-hire tasks such as onboarding, new-hire paperwork (I-9 docs, pre-employment screenings, etc.), training, and orientation
  • Employee relations tasks such as performance evaluations, communications (answer benefit, employment, and payroll questions), and career-pathing
  • Recruiting and staffing logistics
  • Organizational and space planning
  • Organization development;
  • Employment and compliance ‚Äčto regulatory concerns and reporting
  • Policy development and implementation
  • Company-wide committee facilitation
  • Compensation and benefits administration
  • Employee safety, welfare, wellness and health
  • Employee services and counseling
  • Coordinate implementation of services, policies, and programs through Human Resources staff

  • 3+ years of HR experience
