Well-established manufacturing company is currently seeking a Human Resources Manager to join their busy team! Ideally, we are seeking candidates with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on human resources experience and strong union and employee relations experience within manufacturing/distribution who are willing to step in and assist in anything from employee relations, grievances, staff development, and high-level recruitment functions as well.

Responsibilities include:

  • Union Relations/negotiations
  • Organizational departmental planning
  • Performance management and improvement systems
  • organization development
  • employment and compliance with regulatory concerns regarding employees
  • Employee onboarding, development, needs assessment, and training
  • Policy development and documentation
  • Employee relations
  • Company-wide committee facilitation
  • Company employee and community communication
  • Compensation and benefits administration

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6+ years of HR experience, manufacturing experience required
  • Must have proven record of employee relations and union experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources/Industrial Organizational Psychology/related field highly preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must have strong project management skills
