Job Description

We are seeking a Human Resources Manager to join our Charlottesville area client! This position is newly created due to growth and will be pivotal in the continued growth strategy of the company going forward.

Ideally, this person will have experience evaluating and implementing best practices in several areas of HR including talent acquisition, performance management, organizational culture, and others. This role will also be fundamental in leading efforts for improving diversity, equity, and inclusion as a persistent organizational, mission-aligned priority

Typical responsibilities may include:
  • Manage TA process including an evaluation of current practices and a strategy to implement additional procedures
  • Provides support to management on performance management strategy and change management technique
  • Guides management, staff, etc. when issues containing sensitive information or situations arise; investigate any allegations and mediate disputes if necessary
  • Stay abreast of HR trends, policies, and world events that could impact day to day environment
  • Maintain compliance of federal and state laws and regulations
  • Coordinate benefits programs along with benefits broker
  • Bachelors degree, preferably in a related field
  • 5-10 year's of human resources management experience; public and private sector experience is beneficial
  • Highly efficient, task-oriented individual
  • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information and handle delicate scenarios with care
