Job Description

Our Client is looking for an Inside Sales Representative. This role entails outbound and inbound account management. You will be responsible for up selling and cross selling new products along with current and new product lines. Other responsibilities:

  • Manage outbound prospecting and lead development to obtain new customers
  • Identify decision makers within targeted leads to begin sales process
  • Expand the company's data base of customers and leads by aggressively seeking out new business opportunities; Extensive "cold-calling"
  • Explain and communicate product features and benefits, quote prices, recommend product options to potential buyers, send samples when necessary and prepare quotes
  • Enter customer orders into Microsoft Dynamics AX2012, ensuring all orders are processing thru the system in a timely manner and will accurately ship for each customer as they have requested
  • Work closely with on-site Digitizers to ensure precise setup on logo / monogramming is followed per customer's requirements. Prepare digitized swatch for customer's approval.
  • Assist customers with Order issues, returns and tracking shipments
  • Work closely with the warehouse management staff for customer specific shipment requirements
  • Collaborate with Client Service Director and sales to optimize strategic sales methods and (or) sales promotions for your customers
  • Interact with Accounting / Credit departments to ensure accurate billing or resolve billing or credit issues

Experience and Skills Required:

  • Must have experience with setting daily, weekly and monthly goals with the drive to exceed them
  • Must bring innovative methods to researching and qualifying account prospects
  • Ability to "think on your feet" to ensure customer satisfaction and expand sales opportunities
  • Previous experience in customer support, inside sales and telemarketing
  • Exceptional prospecting and cold calling ability
  • Strong telephone, oral and written communication skills are expected
  • The ideal candidate is highly motivated, competitive, personable and extremely outgoing
  • Exceptional listener with excellent time management
  • Decision-making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills
  • 3+ years of experience making Outbound phone calls to businesses
  • Experience working in an environment that resembles a call center
  • Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day
