Job Description

As an entry-level member of the sales team, you will coordinate closely with our sales organization to support research and prospecting activities for new accounts to secure a steady flow of new qualified opportunities. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, with high energy, phenomenal phone/email presence, have a team player mentality, and is willing to take coaching advice and apply it immediately. A proven track record of effective, credible lead follow up and sales development at multiple levels within an organization are required.

Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:
  • Learn and execute proven processes to generate new sales opportunities
  • Respond to and follow up on all inbound leads via email and/or phone
  • Schedule follow up meetings/calls/demos between prospect and AE's
  • Track lead sales activity and prospects using our CRM platform
  • Based on feedback, assign MQLs to sales team
  • Research leads & accounts, identify key players, and generate interest
  • Provide weekly updates to sales management
  • Perform high-level product demos to interested parties
  • Support marketing efforts by assisting in online, direct mail and other marketing campaigns
What you need to succeed:
  • Deep connection with our product and the mission
  • A commanding desire to learn and succeed in Enterprise, SaaS sales
  • 2+ years of sales or related market/business experience
  • A College degree centered around business studies
  • Energy and desire to make numerous (40+) phone calls daily
  • 'Hunter' mentality in seeking out new business
  • Ability to build strong personal relationships with prospects, customers, partners and Brightidea employees
  • Phenomenal verbal and writing skills - ability to communicate clearly and effectively in person, through email and via telephone
  • Ability to work independently and meet quota-level goals
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet tools and research
  • Proficiency with social media (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Google+)
