Job Description

Our client in the Irvine area is seeking an Interim Accounting Manager with Real Estate experience to join their organization for an open ended project. The ideal consultant will have real estate experience and advanced Excel knowledge.

Job Duties May Include:
  • Review monthly financial statements including variances to budget and account reconciliations prepared by 3rd party property management companies for completeness, accuracy and compliance with GAAP
  • Prepare monthly account reconciliations for accounts reconciled
  • Review setup of leases and amendments in MRI for accuracy and completeness
  • Assist with internal and external audit requests
  • Assist with forecasting and budgeting NOI and capital
  • Prepare various 10Q/K disclosures and other quarterly reporting schedules
  • Assist in the review of annual CAM reconciliations
  • Complete special projects as assigned by the team
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in accounting (propery management experience preferred)
  • Advanced Excel knowledge
  • Knowledge of MRI software a plus
