Interim Accounting Manager in Redlands, CA at Vaco

Our client in the Redlands area is currently seeking an interim Accounting Manager/Controller to join their organization for an open ended project. The ideal consultant will live local to the San Bernardino County area and have a CPA license. This role will be very hands on, as well, and will not supervise anyone.

As an Accounting Manager, you will apply your general ledger, month-end close and supervisory expertise to assist the department with month end/year end close activities.

Your areas of responsibility in this role will generally include:

• Managing month-end closing process
• Reviewing and preparing journal entries and reconciliations
• Handle GL roll ups
• Handling accuruals and booking entries properly
• Reviewing and analyzing financial statements and variances

• Bachelo's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA highly desired
• Experience with SAP or Oracle
• Light exposure to SQL
• 4+ years of recent hands on accounting experience (in a senior accountant or accounting manager role)
