Job Description

My client is need of an Interim Accounting Manager. This project is expected to last 3 - 4 months. The company has standard working hours and cool office space. Consultants needs to be able to hit the ground running.

Responsibilities are as follows.

  • Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department
  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including:
  • Month and end-year process
    • accounts payable/receivable
    • cash receipts
    • general ledger
    • payroll and utilities
    • treasury, budgeting
    • cash forecasting
    • revenue and expenditure variance analysis
    • capital assets reconciliations
    • check runs
    • fixed asset activity
    • debt activity
    • Review trial balance and work with Controller to prepare financial statements
    • Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles

Job Requirements

Proven working experience as Accounting Manager
CPA is a huge plus
Ability to manipulate large amounts of data
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to direct and supervise
BS degree in Accounting or Finance
