Job Description

Vaco is in search of an Accounting Manager with E-Commerce experience for an immediate interim role in Marina del Rey.

What you need for this role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • At least 5 years supervisory experience, including hiring, developing and managing multiple Staff Accountants
  • CPA preferred
  • Big 4 experience ideal
  • Blend of public/private a plus
  • E-Commerce, Internet, Consumer Goods or related industry experience desired

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead monthly close process, which includes: perform and review journal entries, account
    reconciliations, consolidation, and prepare monthly financial statements
  • Manage and support daily accounting tasks associated with accounts receivable,
    accounts payable, payroll, and bank reconciliations
  • Enhance and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, systems and procedures
  • Support independent audit and annual tax return preparation by 3rd party accountants
  • Ensure timely filing of federal, state, and local returns. Ensure tax payments are made on a timely basis.
