Job Description

Our client in the North Orange County area is currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for an interim project. This consultant must have reporting experience with Adaptive Planning/Adaptive Insight experience.

As a Financial Analyst, you will act as a key resource on all aspects of annual budgeting. You will ensure that all department budget information reports are prepared accurately and in a timely manner. You will be responsible for articulating all deviations to the annual budget to Management and the Budget Review Committee. You will assist with the integration of budget information into the accounting system and perform analysis for fiscal operations as necessary, including cash management, payroll, rent, investments, etc.

Job Duties May Include:

* Prepare internal monthly management packages including the internal management package and financial packages. This also includes monthly and quarterly BOD packages.

* Own and manage various reports in Adaptive Analytics and function as expert user of Adaptive.

* Other internal reporting would include capital expenditure, headcount and by customer reporting.

* Work with Controller on external bank reporting and other GAAP reports for year-end Audit.

* Obtain multiple trial balances from Controllers and map them to a common chart of accounts then upload files to the Company's reporting software (Adaptive). Validating data accuracy post uploaded.

* Manage and track new GL accounts added monthly and ensure these are updated in Adaptive, AOC files and communicated to the Accounting and FP&A departments. Coordinate with various Controllers to obtain an understanding of their chart of accounts.

* Assist with updating or building reporting files as needed. Consider business reporting changes working closely with Controllers as well as the FP&A department.

* Assist with various special reporting projects including building automation between Adaptive and each acquired business's ERP system to help streamline the reporting process.

* Assist with building out connectors between Adaptive and multiple ERP systems

* Assist with building out new process improvements as the business continues to grow.

* Develop process improvements to streamline reporting to reduce reporting time.

* Ad hoc projects for both Accounting and FP&A depts.


Requirements:

* Advanced Excel Skills.

* Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance (Economic with Accounting or Finance emphasis).

* Ability to understand and follow all company policies and procedures and all applicable State and Federal laws.

* Ability to use typical business tools including E-Mail, Word, Excel, etc.

* Experience using Blackline or other reconciliation software a plus.

* Experience using Adaptive is required
