Job Description

Skills & Duties:

  • Technical tax
  • Performing technical tax reviews of assigned tax returns of varying complexity.
  • Researching complex tax issues.
  • Identifying issues and recommend creative solutions to complex client issues.
  • Full M&A corporate tax advisory services including due diligence planning and tax structuring services and recommendations
  • Perform tax risk analysis of client's finance/accounting departments
  • Compliance Support - Assist accurate reporting of tax returns by identifying, researching and evaluating alternative tax positions in order to determine a supportable, cost effective filing position.
  • Support the tax department's internal control processes in compliance with the Company's Sarbanes Oxley policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely filed consolidated US federal, state, and local income tax returns, with related workpapers that support the adjustments made and tax positions taken.
  • Assist in the preparation of foreign informational returns (e.g., forms 5471, 8858, and 1118) as well as other international aspects and disclosures included in the US federal return
  • Assist in the preparation of annual transfer pricing documentation for local and global requirements, including Country-by-Country reporting and related notifications.
  • Assist in the preparation of the Company's domestic income tax provision under ASC 740, considering all necessary adjustments and positions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, Master's degree in Tax preferred.
  • CPA license.
  • 5+ years public accounting experience, including current or very recent experience working at a public accounting firm.
  • Experience with managing multiple tax accounting projects and client engagements, directing and scheduling staff and managing workflow.
  • Excellent communication and time-management skills.
