Position Overview:

We are seeking an IT Administrator with a positive, proactive attitude who will take responsibility for all IT management aspects of company operations and will provide leadership and coordination in assuring that all IT functions of the company are running to the highest potential at all times. The successful candidate must be a highly organized self-starter, detail-oriented and have the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, always changing environment. The company is embarking on a major growth period and requires an IT Administrator who can initiate change and help drive the continued growth.


  • Assist in the planning and implementation of additions, deletions and major modifications to the supporting regional infrastructure.
  • Implements network security at the regional level as established by Executive team.
  • Oversees the administration and maintenance of the company's infrastructure, and directs more junior employees when necessary.
  • Oversees the administration of the company's LAN.
  • Manages, oversees and develops upgrades to the company's VOIP telephone system.
  • Oversees the administration and maintenance of computer stations and software for company and any training programs.
  • Troubleshooting, systems backups, archiving, and disaster recovery and provides expert support when necessary.
  • Works with project teams and individuals (local and abroad) to help implement Internal Systems.
  • Works with internal custom systems to help troubleshoot day to day data issues, recommend, and develop system improvements.
  • Resolves all escalated Help Desk requests.
  • Oversees the administration and maintenance of our tracking software and other technologies.
  • Interacts with internal clients on all levels to help resolve IT-related issues and provides answers in a timely manner.
  • Builds and maintains vendor relationships and manages the purchase of hardware and software products.
  • Effectively communicates relevant IT-related information to superiors and the company.
  • Delivers engaging, informative, well-organized presentations.
  • Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion.
  • Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
  • Initiates and implements improvements in all areas of IT responsibility.
  • Serves as main point of contact on all IT-related matters for the office assigned.
  • Responds/acts on upper-management direction.


  • Strong command of Exchange (Cloud/Rackspace)
  • Network and Administration experience required
  • Systems backup and disaster recovery experience
  • Knowledge of VOIP and other technologies
  • Project Management experience
  • Managing help desk software experience
  • Ability to be 'hands-on' and resolve issues
  • Experience in document process and management
  • Knowledge of SQL, C#, MS access a major plus
