Job Description

The IT Business Systems Analyst will serve as the technical lead of the business application function within the organization and support aspects of infrastructure and support functions that align with clients mission and goals. This role will require independent research, planning and delivery of modern IT solutions that align with current IT best practices.

Primary Functions and Essential Responsibilities

Business Applications:

  • Lead analysis efforts for all open requests/projects with back office third-party DAF Administration software solution provider
  • Lead and manage all donor-facing web application build outs, new online functionality workstreams, form standardization efforts and administration
  • Proactively identify problems and seek solutions that positively impact the organization
  • Determine operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats and developing system specifications
  • Improve systems by studying current practices; designing modifications; implementing solutions
  • Recommend controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures
  • Write and maintain technical documentation for all assigned responsibilities
  • Provide references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation and standard operating procedures for the staff and donors
  • Support the creation of business requirements, system requirements, design, and data models for all IT projects

    Infrastructure:

  • Manage all technical aspects of clients website infrastructure related to hosting and domain administration
  • Support client phone and network system and all administration projects and maintenance requests as needed
  • Manage administration of the technology change management system and processes

  • Support the implementation of all technical solutions required to support Information Security policies
  • Provide SharePoint online administration support and Office 365 support as needed

    Support

  • Support all additional IT projects as required
  • Serve as a back-up for on-site help desk support

Education/Certification:

  • 3-5 years' experience delivering system requirements/designs for IT projects
  • Bachelor's Degree required in Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science or related field

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Strong project management skills with ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines proactively and independently and show commitment to follow-through
  • Strong problem-solving skills; ability to use logic and analysis to solve business and systems problems
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and oral
