Job Description


The IT customer support specialist position will oversee and manage all internal company IT support and training requests for our East Coast offices. The IT Customer Service Rep will provide first level support for users, ensure currency of information and provide installation and training services as needed. This role will increase the usability and effectiveness of the company's application and environment.

Essential Functions

  • Manage IT support requests of internal staff
  • Identify and implement new technologies to increase features and value.
  • Provide training and support.
  • Help define and design enhancements for the company's applications
  • Develop support and training tools that increase system usability.
  • Develop, both technical and end-user documentation.
  • Coordinate application installation and acceptance with end users and provide user assistance on application operations.
  • Prepare time and cost estimates for completing projects.
  • Prepare personal activity reports and project status reports on system software.

    Work Environment

    This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.     Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

    This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.


    No travel is expected for this position.

    Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in related field, or combination of education and experience.
  • Three years of programming experience and customer support.
