Assist end-users with troubleshooting issues related to PC hardware, Windows OS, Microsoft Office applications, and various 3rd party vendor applications. Responsible for procurement, setup/configuration, maintaining/monitoring and documentation of company PCs/laptops, tablet/mobile devices, phones, printers and related hardware and software. Assist with configuration, security and maintenance of company network devices including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points. Assist with maintenance and monitoring of backend server infrastructure including backups and file replication.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide helpdesk support
  • Procure new desktop/laptops
  • Configure and maintain PCs and supporting hardware
  • Install/configure/troubleshoot user applications and hardware
  • Assist in security efforts for technology used by the Company
  • Assist in research and implementation of technology changes as appropriate
  • Review/maintain systems documentation
  • Maintain/review user account information and access

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Excellent customer service / communication skills
  • Independent decision making and problem solving
  • Experience with Microsoft systems including Active Directory, Group Policy, File/Print Services
  • Experience with Office 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Office ProPlus)
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Basic networking concepts including routing, switching, subnets, VLANs, VPNs, DHCP, DNS, ACLs, etc
  • 2+ years helpdesk or related experience
  • Occasional work outside normal company business hours (evenings/weekends)
  • Associates/Bachelor Degree in Information Systems or related field preferred
  • Industry certifications including CompTIA, Microsoft, and Cisco preferred
