As a Junior Accountant, you will play an integral role in accurately preparing our client's accounting records and performance. You will be responsible for a variety of general accounting functions as well as providing accounting support for senior staff if needed.

Junior Accountant responsibilities:

  • Reviews, investigates, and reconciles Consignment Inventory.
  • Reconcile and record Sales and Cost of Goods Sold from third-party entity.
  • Reviews, investigates, and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries and reports.
  • Reconciliation of all the balance sheet accounts related to specific Consignment inventory.
  • Understand system of controls, procedures, and forms for the recordation for assets.
  • Basic understanding of consolidated financial statement preparation.
  • Identifying trends in financial performance and providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Increases productivity by developing and/or enhancing automated accounting processes, tools and applications.
  • Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Make certain all financial reporting deadlines are met.
  • Perform Balance Sheet account reconciliations, account analysis, accrual calculations, and other related accounting documents/schedules.
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close processes.
  • Document policies, procedures and workflow for assigned areas of responsibility.
  • Contribute to department and organization special projects as assigned.
  • Protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
