Job Description

Vaco is looking for an energetic and detail oriented Junior Corporate Recruiter (Information Technology focus) for one of our midtown Atlanta clients that continues along a great growth trajectory. Our client's culture is amazing and we have placed the last 2 Corporate recruiters at this role. This is a new position due to growth, as well! If you have junior level or college internship experience in information technology, finance or human resources, enjoy networking and have a penchant for success in finding top talent, both passive and active, this role is for you. As a Junior Corporate Recruiter, you will work closely with your HR team in collaborating with hiring managers to identify recruitment initiatives that align with the overall business strategy.


  • Review and screen internal applicants and candidates that come through our clients Referral Program
  • Accurate and timely tracking of all recruiting activity in our ATS system (Oracle Taleo Business Edition) for data driven recruiting practices
  • Source and attract quality candidates using an array of traditional and non-traditional tools and events: LinkedIn, Dice, Google, Bing, ATS database, community networking events, industry-related conferences, referral-based sources, career fairs, social media outlets and others
  • Schedule applicable candidate for future team interactions / interviews following initial screening
  • Follow up with candidates and hiring managers to ensure updated information on the interview process status is correctly transferred promptly
  • Develop offers and work with candidates and managers to complete all pre-employment and on-boarding processes
  • Analyze interview feedback and extend / negotiate offers to active candidates
  • Consistently attend networking events to evangelize our client's brand and recruit applicable attendees
  • Drive an engaging candidate experience across all functions of business
  • Develop and maintain an excellent relationship with internal and external clients to ensure recruiting goals are achieved
  • Partner and build positive relationships with Recruiting team and Hiring Managers to schedule, screen, evaluate and help select candidates for open positions
  • Facilitate onboarding activities of new hires including pre-employment tasks, employment paperwork processing, and requesting of background screenings
  • Schedule, coordinate, and execute new hire orientation events that will deepen the new hire's understanding of our culture and values
