Our Client is an fintech/alternative asset management firm leveraging a sophisticated technology platform created solely for institutional investments. They use advanced Artificial Intelligence and analytic algorithms applied to one of the most extensive databases to enable the Investment Analyst to quickly determine the best assets to acquire. The integration of the entire investment lifecycle from investment identification, acquisition, renovation all the way through asset management assures a more precise portfolio performance.


Due to our rapid growth they are in need of a Lead Full Stack Developer to lead technology innovation in our AI platform as well as other line of business software. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing asset management team with a unique and highly desired Fintech Platform.

Description
This position will be responsible for full-stack software development with a focus on leading development efforts using technologies such as Angular, HTML, NodeJS, CSS, Mongo and Sql Server. The work will be focused on developing internal and subscriber-facing web applications that use Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning algorithms for the financial arena.

To excel you ll need a solid understanding of Java and Nosql databases as well as Azure tools supporting big data, microservice architecture, major desktop and mobile browser behaviors, responsive web design techniques,

Responsibilities
* Implement existing UX & design deliverables such as prototypes, wireframes, and style guides into functioning code.
* Develop data processing algorithms based on financial investment analyst input and feedback
* Provide leadership by introducing and leveraging cutting edge technology and methodologies
* Solid front-end developer as well as back-end full stack developer
* Develop in a strong test driven development approach with a passion for perfection
* Review and influence overall architecture design and tools
* Creates self-documenting designs and/or clearly communicates intent via comments in code, on specifications, in as-built documentation and during code reviews


Experience
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, a related technical or scientific field, or equivalent experience
* At least 5+ years of solid front-end and back-end software development experience
* Proficiency and professional experience with OO Javascript, HTML5, CSS3, and at least a handful of JS frameworks (Angular, Node, Ember, React, etc. you can substitute other cool stuff for items on this list)
* Strong working experience with MongoDB
* Experience in Microservice architecture
* Familiarity with Azure platform and tools
* Experience working in an Agile environment
* Knowledge of tools like Git, Github, JIRA, Cucumber, Jasmine, and others that make coding more efficient and easier to share
* Responsive Design knowledge is a plus
* You should be able (and want) to argue the reason for using your IDE of choice, be it Sublime, Notepad, Webstorm, or MVS
