Job Description

Job Responsibilities:


  • Monthly review of residential and commercial accounts receivables


  • Manages communications on arrearages (with tenants, attorneys, property managers, collections agencies)
  • Initiates court filings and collections, tracks payment plans, investigates payment irregularities, and makes recommendations for resolving accounts in arrears


  • Liaison for commercial leasing & property management

  • Acts as communications hub - whether new tenant, existing tenant, bankruptcy dealings, attorneys, municipal agencies
  • Reviews leases. Coordinates and assists in the effectuating of lease modifications or concessions/accommodations relative to unique tenant circumstances
  • Takes actions to clarify to tenants any billing or ledger history questions

  • Performs reoccurring contract administration for property management (Landscape/Snow Removal/Irrigation/Lawn Fertilization)

  • Solicits bids across both residential and commercial portfolios
  • Makes recommendations for contract awarding
  • Creates contracts
  • Reviews billings
  • Initiates any correspondences about arrears to defaults

  • Miscellaneous Property Management

  • Running miscellaneous MRI reports supporting property management
  • Continually reviews tenant payment ledgers and performs customer service calls explaining statements
  • Manage evictions for non-payment of rent - including coordinating residential and commercial lock outs
  • Cross training with peers to cover other roles when personnel are out on vacation/absence
  • Manages commercial move-out reports
  • Assists in special projects including (but not limited to) sales of properties/refinancing/municipal requirements/property purchases

  • Common Area Maintenance (CAM) yearly reconciliation and quarterly review of reserves for commercial and residential publicly traded entities
  • Track Certificates of Insurance (COI) for commercial tenants

  • Skills:

    * Proficiency with MS Office, Outlook. MRI a plus.
