Vaco Indianapolis has partnered with a client of ours located in Minneapolis looking for a Litigation Docketing Analyst!

We are seeking a Litigation Docketing Analyst with 3+ years' experience to support our Minneapolis office. Litigation Docketing Analysts serve clients by providing administrative support to attorneys. All employees operate under a "Client First" philosophy-in all things, we seek to provide exceptional services to our clients.

Essential Duties:

  • Reads and interprets various documents to extract critical events for docketing.
  • Creates new events and updates existing events in CompuLaw from notifications and requests received for docketing. Manually calculates dates as needed.
  • Maintains the accuracy of data pertaining to the matters managed within the CompuLaw software.
  • Interacts with court personnel, attorneys and staff in a professional manner to obtain and provide data, answer questions and resolve problems.
  • Prepares, processes and generates routine and special reports for distribution as needed.
  • Researches and keeps up-to-date on developments and changes in court procedures for various jurisdictions.


  • Proficient in the use of Aderant CompuLaw is required.
  • Knowledge of the legal process, court operations, and federal, state and local court and administrative rules.
  • Ability to read, understand and interpret complex documents such as pleadings and other documents related to a litigation matter.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with, and follow instructions from, diverse individuals and to provide information with courtesy and tact in person, over the telephone and in writing.
  • Ability to reason and apply common sense understanding to resolve problems and carry out instructions furnished verbally or in writing.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide and perform mathematical functions normally needed to calculate dates.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office programs is required.
Ability to work under a high level of mental effort and strain to perform the essential duties of the position. Ability to occasionally work more than 40 hours per week.
