Vaco Atlanta is looking for a Manager, Human Resources Business Partner for a new client of ours in Kennesaw. For this role, we are seeking someone currently operating in a Human Resources Business Partner or Generalist capacity for a division or region of a large manufacturing / distribution or other blue collar type company (e.g., mostly non-exempt employees). Base comp on this role is targeted at $80K-$100K and 25% travel (across the US) is required. Below is a representative job description and requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Build positive, trusting relationships with the Operations team and offer thought leadership and provide strategic advice and counsel regarding organizational and people-related strategies
  • Provide expertise in performance management, coaching, data analysis, employee relations, learning and development, recognition programs and strategic development
  • Develop and implement change initiatives designed to enhance employee engagement, development and productivity
  • Support the onboarding paperwork and process for new hires
  • Provide data and reporting to guide decision making and provide proactive solutions
  • Identify problems and quickly implement solutions
  • Partner with business leaders and HR colleagues to identify and set short and long-term HR metrics based on business plans and customer expectations
  • Support with administration and communication of HR programs, benefits or services as assigned
  • Promote HR process standardization and process improvement based on feedback from leaders, managers, and employees

Qualifications

  • Bachelor s Degree required with 5 years of years of experience in a strategic HR role
  • Three plus years of experience working with operational teams within a Manufacturing, Supply Chain and/or Construction environment
  • Strong background in creating and executing HR strategy, talent planning, organizational design, workforce planning, training, employee relations, talent acquisition
  • Proven building collaborative relationships with all levels of leaders and employees in both a corporate and non-corporate setting
  • Experience leading or having strong participation in a major change or transformation project
  • Demonstrated strong project management skills with multi-tasking abilities
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; excellent presentation skill
  • 25% Travel Required
